The summer in the 1997 was unusually warm and sunny, all grown very well.  To the left  - the rose 'Prairie Dawn' which is related with 'New Dawn'. But here the rose does not want to flower really. In the 1999 a shoot of 'Susanne' has appeared in the middle of 'Prairie Dawn' s bush and it is flowering instead! Anyway, I should maybe planted only 'Susanne' roses on the Terraces. Any of those another roses have been really in bloom any time. Behind 'Prairie Dawn'  the 'lse Krohn Superior' is planted, which is not any superior here. Almost any flowers occured either and it grows very weakly. The rose is most often maltreated by west wind from the creak because it is planted highest. Similar 'Dr Eckener' (R.rugosa hybrid) is doing  not well - almost no flowers or growth. I have bought in the 1999 one more plant of this sort and planted in the middle of the lawn, in front of the entrance of the house. But I have not seen any flower yet on the other Doctor as well..

Gatuterrasser juni 1997. Rosen 'Susanne', kanadensisk pimpionellhybrid blommar för första gången. Över huvud taget är Susanne första rosen som blommar på våren och sedan brukar hon få ofta lite blommor, alltid någon blomma hela sommaren. Uppe syns Yngves hus. Nu ser man var ligger gatuterrasserna i förhållande till huset.
