Audra is now 1 and 1/2 years old (summer 2002) and there is her first dress! And her hair begins to be a little longer. She is certainly a little girl now, not the baby any more!

Now Tymon, her big brother, could think about to play with her - but it is not easy. You must share toys, I am afraid..

After a week Audra seems to like Granny a little..

Time is running very fast! I visited my family in September 2002 - Audra was already 2 1/2 years old!

Below she is a little shy seeing grandma the first time she could remember..

1 and1/2 year old Audra already knows how to feed a baby-doll she has got from Granny. Nobody told her!

Granny went back home to Sweden and the winter 2003 came. Audra loves to be out when it is really much of snow!

Mommy is sooo big! and Audra is still very little girl..

In the garden the hammock is still on place and covered by fluffy quilt of snow. Tymon and Audra checking if it is possible to lie-down..

Audra became big enough to start learning how to pee without pampers.. Tymon helps her in it - and he discovers at the same time a difference between boys and girls..

Time runs very quickly and the year 2003 came. Audra and Tymon were about to visit Grandma - but in the last minute the parents have to change their plans.

Granny have not seen her grandchildren a long time now. Daddy Marcin sent sometimes some pictures and video, but absolutely too little and too seldom.

The 2004 year was full of surprises, both to grandma and grandchildren. It was many travels for all of them! But not quite together. First the whole family moved in March abroad, to Germany, there daddy Marcin also started the brand new job..

But it was not very god idea. Neither parents nor children could speak a word in German, and they have not any friends to play with. And - after 2 months the whole Company decided to move to.. Philippines! Nobody wanted to move so far! Daddy Marcin started to look after a new job and he had got one, very quick - in England!

Next summer, probably 2005, Grandma was intended to travel to Cambridge, but she did not..

Between the transfers from Germany to England mom Egle and children went back to Poland for a while - and Grandma visited them. It was the big weeding in the family - Marek's daughter Justyna has got married in August 2008. Of course children couldn't miss this. They love Justyna and she adores them too.

But no, my grandchildren are definitely not steady people!

After a while they are back in Poland! Incredible how often they move and change countries, homes, schools and naturally - friends..

Daddy Marcin decided to work for his friend in USA! But all the family stayed in Poland anyway, here was definitely cheaper to live, and daddy can work on the computer and via Internet.

Unfortunately, Grandmother has never got opportunity to see Cambridge..but ..

See, Audra was almost a little lady with her stylish dress and hut..

Audra and Tymon in Cambridge-Milton. Tymon went to the English school, he learned a lot English and he was the best in mathematics! He even helped other children. Audra went to pre-school but she did like it not very much.

On the picture she is very proud of herself - she learned to ride the real bicycle!

They have some friends too, mummy Egle found them among neighbours.

.. guess what! Daddy Marcin decided to come back to England! They moved already in April, 2006, to a little town almost in London. Maybe Granny will see England anyway..

Not so soon, I am afraid.. Granny became very ill, has had very serious surgery on her spinal. She stayed in the hospital some months and later also some months in own bed at house. It was not possible to travel, she could even hardly go..

But we must believe in miracles.

And it happened a miracle in Grandma's life. After her Swedish friend Yngve suddenly died, she has met an English man! They at first wrote only emails to each other, and after some months they eventually have met. Where? In Poland, in Warsaw! Grandma has got a helper, a Swedish nurse who followed her to Warsaw, they both were invited to Grandma's friend Jagoda and Grandma Anna could meet Keith. They liked each other very much and since then they have not parted any more! Now they are together, most of the time in England.

First thing Keith made for Anna when they've met was to give her the promise on taking her to Marcin and to her Grandchildren. And he hold his promise. They have said nothing to Marcin, even that they had met and lived together. When the Marcin's Birthday came, Anna and Keith knocked to Marcin's and Egle's door! It was really surprise, believe me! Marcin said to Egle: "nip me, maybe I am dreaming!" And next words he said, seeing Keith, were: "Who is he, the man with you??"

But it was reality and everybody was happy, especially children. They have probably forgotten how Grandma Ania looks like, they could only recognize her voice, from telephone.

It was much fun when both grandchildren have got a huge package.

Audra has got a doll which was tall like a 5 years old girl and she could go together with her. Tymon has got a large car, radio-controlled. To the left you can see all of them on the picture. Keith, who shot the photo, has "cut" a little bit of the head of Marcin, but it was very difficult to get everybody on the picture in a very little lounge in Marcin's house.

The children became very big. They speak of course very good English and sometimes the parents do not understand them so well..

Tymon was doing very well, both in school and scouts. He was one of best students in school and last year has been chosen the HEAD BOY by ALL pupils in school! Unfortunately the parents do not send me any pictures of them..

Pity, because from Keith and Anna to Grandchildren there is a very long way to drive, it takes for Keith about 5 hours, and all in the family are mostly too busy to come and see Grandma.But they visited us already three times last two years!

It was much fun when children have visited Keith and Granny on Easter 2009.

The weather has been really sunny (but rather cool at the seaside) and all drove by 2 cars to Pemberton Beach to the picnic.

Time is running, not going! It happened many things since a year. Tymon finished Primary School, he learned play guitar in 2 weeks, passed very well all exams and became the proud student at the high school, for boys! I do not write names, for any case.. Anyway, he is already a brilliant student and won some music competitions together with some other boys in groups. Audra was still in Primary School, but not a very long time yet. Both children are very tall and full of energy, sometimes too full.. Last time they have visited Granny last days of May, unfortunately it was a very bad weather and not warm at all.

Looks like everybody wants to hide behind Marcin! And who should have really do it, it was me, now you can see that Granny is near to 80! (age and kilos..) And is not so clear at Marcin is very near to 50..he still cannot stay quite serious, especially when posing to pictures.

Next year, 2010 my family has visited me again, but it was not for fun. Keith became very seriously ill, was taken to the hospital and doctors said he was dying.. My family came at once to support me and they took me by car to visit Keith in hospital as well, bringing him a lot of laugh, which he really needed.

After almost 5 weeks doctors succeeded to cure Keith as much it was possible and he came back home.

I have got several pictures of Audra and not any of Tymon, I am afraid. It is thanks to Facebook, Audra's page, where from I downloaded her pictures. Tymon did not want me as a friend, so I can not enter to his side, despite about 400 other people can.

My grandchildren are really very timid, despite you couldn't guess it seeing them. When mamma Egle and daddy Marcin went once to the parent's meeting to the Audra's school, everybody met them with congratulations. They got to know that Audra was chosen the Head Girl in school, just like Tymon was the Head Boy in his school 2 years ago! With good result on tests and social popularity was not any problem for her to get in to the Grammar School For Girls! She started this September 2012 and thrives very well.

I was struck dumb when I opened Audra's Facebook today, 23 June 2013. The beautiful young girl met my eyes! See yourself. It is the same little Audra from beginning of this site..

In the year 2014 came rather big changes in my family. My son Marcin changed job and even moved alone to the other town, visiting the family only on weekends! But he is now much more happy, because the character of job is just what he always wanted. Audra passed well the test to the very good school on the place when daddy leaves now, and she moved with him since September! It can be a little sad without old friends.. but it takes time to find a new house, to sell the old one and mamma Egle must find a job on the new place, so the family will be split a time, maybe about two years.
