Våren 1995 - första försök att bilda Smultronkullen på en hög av bråte, ganska mycket troligen efter byggen. Man ser i alla fall jordgubbplantor längst back. Jag kommer inte ens ihåg vad det var för något som blommade vit.. i ala fall ser man vid stenen till höger styvmorsviol som bosatte sig där. Den fanns alltid i stora mängder på Yngves tomt och när den kom på bättre jord i planteringar så fick den ofta väldigt stora och vackra blommor av olika färgnyanser.
Spring 1995, my first try to build 'Smultronkullen' ('The Wild Strawberry Hill', but on the pages of this webbsite I accepted English name 'The Strawberry Hill', the more, that majority at the beginning were strawberries). I covered with soil a pile of bild-wastes, sand etc and planted mostly what i could found around - strawberry of coarse have been first. I don't even remember white flowers names which were planted there. Anyway, you can see a wild Viola tricolor settled down at the stone there. They were all over on Yngve´s garden and when they found a bit of better soil, they became much bigger and have got much bigger, beautiful flowers in many colors and shadows.
